Runny nose after drinking kava

Hi all - this is a very random question, but I’ve noticed that any time I’ve had kava and am feeling the effects, my nose starts to run. I don’t have allergies and am 100% convinced it’s kava related. It’s not an issue at all, in fact it’s usually a sign for me that I’m having a good session. Does that happen to anyone else?

Yes, I get that. I take it as sign its good stuff, so nothing to worry about.

I definitely get the runny nose effect from about 2/3 of the various kavas I drink. Since it's not, for me at least, an allergic reaction or a particularly rough side effect, I just treat as a sign that it's starting to work and that I brewed it up strong enough . .

Happens every single time I drink kava, no exceptions.

That’s so interesting, glad it’s not just me. Anyone have any idea why this happens?
