- A great muscle relaxant for the money
Prepped 1.5 tbsp x 2 aluballs in 700 ml of warmish water. Drank a few shells up front then a shell every 15 minutes. Prepped a second wash in 600 ml of water and drank pretty quickly. I should also note I shake for 3-5 min each wash.
This is a nice and simple kava. The flavor is nice and mild, just not quite as nutty and creamy as the tongan. Fiji Vanua claims it to be their heaviest kava, and this stuff definately delivers. Decently potent, this stuff is mostly sedative with some mild anxiety relief and euphoria. It reminds me of throwing on your favorite flannel shirt or getting a full body massage. The santa cruz is a comfortable muscle relaxant with very little happening in the mind except mild feelings of peace and contemplation.
I definately reccomend this kava if you're looking to relax your body. Fiji Vanua has great prices and free shipping.
