Seeing things in a new light?

Does anyone else experience a change in their vision with Kava?

I'm not talking like blurring or impairment. I'm talking in things looker brighter but not just light sensitivity.
Maybe a touch of surreal feeling or things seem more detailed.
It might just be me but I found it interesting enough to make a thread on it.

I found these fun to look at. Surreal art As in I'd like to get some giant posters/paintings to put around my place of them.

You are definitely not alone. I drank a few shells of kava once then watched a new video of a singer I follow on you tube. It was like space time was bending and I was being sucked into the sound booth she was singing in. It was like I was actually there sitting in front of her while she sang that song.

I think I've noticed time moving a little sluggish in the present but quickly in the past.

Like I'll listen to music and and think it's later than it is. Then I'll go outside or just go general stuff around the house and it'll be later than I expected.

This might just be from not looking at the clock as often.

Well, once I had some ultra-potent White Sands. I didn't know what I was doing, so I mixed in a teaspoon of Shaman with a second-pressing, but I was pretty much following the ultra-thick Nakamal@Home recipe. I then sat down and watch a reconstruction of a lost William Hartnell Doctor Who episode. For those unfamiliar with the classic series, BBC burned much of a first few seasons, but an independent fan group has reconstructed them using what people audio-taped and the photographs that people took of the sets or of their TV's.

I swear, it looked like everything had just now stopped moving, even though there was no movement in the entire episode.

Best way to watch, I swear.

I know exactly what you mean. I have used it to some success to court the elusive "organic" nuances of writing. I have also noticed a slight increase in appreciation of auditory stimulation, namely music and poetry; words seem heavier and more deliberate. It's pretty interesting.

That's odd. When I drink kava I feel like my head is filled up, and my ears are stuffed and almost ringing. My hearing is closer to impaired than enhanced.

Maybe my experience isn't very common. It is interesting to see how the effects differ from person to person.

Prince Philip I love science fiction but never really got into Dr. Who sadly. Two of my favorite shows would be farscape and SG-1.

I think I can relate more to ozzyfan121 than Ed. I do get ringing in my ears but that happens all the time. I think it's from listening to music too loud.

Unfortunately if my music isn't at a certain level it just doesn't feel right. I never go past this level though.

I seem to be a bit more perceptive of background instruments I'd usually not notice in some songs.

I'm the same Ed. I'm just crunked. lol. Music sounds the same, unless it's super chill dubstep or a nice xylophone smash-out.

The only real incredible effect that comes after a few shells, is this strange all over numbness that morphs into a warmth all over my body, and then will slowly turn into a "buzzing" all over my body that just chills there for a while. It's so ridiculously euphoric, like that "butterflies" feeling you get when on a roller coaster, but all over my body. THAT is when I love to read or watch TV, everything that pops into my mind becomes real in some kind world where I'm made of vibrating jelly.

Takes a few shells to get to that stage though, but it's nice.

kavalover haven't had anything like that happen to me yet. I think I really need to buy some Fu'u or V3 next time. I have a feeling I'm going to go through this 2nd bag of Boroguru quickly.
