Selling Kava on here

I'm assuming Douglas has mod authority on here but:

could we get a new forum category on the main page for people on here that have some extra kava left over and want to make a quick sale?

just curious.

we could call it : "Kava Market" (smiley: tongue)

I for one, would be interested. So far the user reviews have been far more informative than what I tend to read on the vendors' websites anyways! (for the most part.)

So far no one has vetoed your post, what do you have remaining? Are you able to easily/cheaply ship to BC, Canada?

thanks!

It sounds like a good idea but there is a lot involved if what you're talking about is an actual trade marketplace. On the various forums I'm a member of it's a paypal only affair. I don't know how difficult that is to add to a forum. There would also have to be a terms of service and a system for resolving disagreements. There might actually have to be Moderators or sub-admins to make that happen since Douglas is often busy in other countries and probably wouldn't have time to wear so many hats at once.

no no i don't mean that transactions have to be made on this website, the two people i've bought from on here, (r3mote, and rcoz) have their own paypal account and we take care of that through emails. i just wanted a spot where if anyone has some leftovers that they want to get rid of, they would have somewhere to post it.

techie420-- sorry i don't actually have any to sale:( but i agree that the user reviews on here are more reliable!

I am all for this since many online kava stores don't accept refunds and it's easy to accidentally get a kava you don't really like when trying new kavas.

plus I don't think this would interfere too greatly with their business. in fact, by trading small samples like half pounds or quarter pounds, it could benefit the vendors in the end.

Another forum I go to has a trading post section, and people get rated for selling/buying in good faith. I'll look at that a bit more to see how it's done, and if it's possible with yuku.

o0o0o...you mean a classifieds section. Gosh it's been years since I've seen a classifieds section done in newspaper format. Yeah that would be cool. (and easy)
