Has anyone had a weird type of acne with lava?

If you mean acne as in styes around your eyes, that can happen if you rub your eyes. Keep your hands clean and try not to rub your eyes.
It your skin is just turning dry and flaky, that's just normal kava skin. It causes no permanent damage. Don't let it dry out to the point that it cracks, and you'll be fine.
