I made a batch of kava on Saturday and for various reasons ended up not drinking it until today and kept it in the fridge. It tastes slightly tart, like it's got a twist of lemon in it, not like full-on sour. It tastes different but not any worse than usual. Is there any reason to think it's unsafe? I've drunk 2 shells and am getting some effects but not feeling sick or anything. I guess I may find out tomorrow or later tonight. My prep was pretty clean, but maybe time to toss the strainer bag that I've been reusing or attempt to sterilize it somehow.
