Vendor shipped promptly and the package came early in a brown bag with silver lining on the inside, because even cloud 9 has a silver lining. Appearance of the root was interesting, a yellow tan color, fluffy clumpy, and very fresh. The grind was perfect and the kava was very oily. When i was kneading my sol i had this undeniable urge to play red hot chili peppers "soul to squeeze" but i have no idea why. Taste was great, all pepper with not much of the soapiness. Effects were nice, if a little bit subtle. Slightly sedative, but ok for daytime. Solid tasty kava, and feels totally noble, zero hangover and unlikely to cause side effects.
