Hey y'all, I'm selling a 250g bag of Nambawan from Bula Kava House ($30 value) and 5oz of Bali K@ ($45 value). I've used half a cup of the kava, and about 1 serving (7-10g) of the K@.

Kava is $20 + shipping

K@ is $35 + shipping

I'll let both of them go for $45 + shipping

I would ask Prince Phillip if this was OK before posting a "Would Like To Sell" ad, specially one that includes K@.

I don't see why prince would mind this. Just another kavasseur trying to give some other kavasseurs a good deal on unneeded supplies.

The two types of spammers we see the most often here are K@ vendors and people trying to sell cheep kitchens. Well, those and the "hello" posts that are just checking to see if we moderate new members or something.

I am concerned that somehow "things that start with K" will somehow take over... K@, Ketimine, Killer Whale Testicles, Klaypex, Klenex, Kitchens, Kitten-Huffing, etc. (Actually, that third one goes under the name "OrcaOrchids," or orc-orc if you're a hardcore addict).

The main thing I'm looking for is a person who's replies aren't friendly/chatty/helpful, but rather seem to be an excuse to force a signature linking to a sales website.  None of the actual vendors in this forum do that.

We're all either too smart to fall for that crap, or we're going to become smart enough the moment the kavain reaches a critical threshold.

How about a sub-forum for people who want to buy/sell kava?  It seems like at least a couple members on this forum have a bag or two that they just didn't dig and would like to make room for more.
I agree that it should be kava only.  Lord knows we don't need any orc-orc 'round these parts.  I've seen that stuff ruin more lives than I can count.

Another idea would be to have a "Kava Box Pass." Someone with an extensive kava collection would be ideal to start it. We gather a list of 10-12 people and the box makes a complete circle via mail. The first person puts samples of kava in the box, labels them, and sends the box to the second person who takes what they like and adds new samples, then sends to person three, etc.

I've seen this done on other special interest forums. For privacy, one trusted person usually collects all of the name and address information and sends only the necessary info to the participants (the address of the next person in line). It's a good way to try a few varieties before you buy and to offload those you aren't so fond of without wasting perfectly good kava.
