Tolerance and Reverse Tolerance with fairly frequent use

Kava Curious
Was taking a bunch of Fire Island in the mornings during the week, lets say 4 times a week, sometimes a little more, with weekend use of real Kava (not every weekend). Once I stopped having a decent effect from the morning process, so I stopped all Kava for a week, and then continued and all was good again. It just happened again.

Anyone have any ideas on that? I thought Kava was reverse tolerance?

(One good part, as an experiment so to speak, is that there was no withdrawal of any kind or any symptoms of addiction at all, though I had to manage stress in other ways. I'll do the same process now, wait a week, but am wondering if anyone else has had the same experience?)

Oh, and I'm a 2.5 tsp Fire Island kind of guy. Occasional 2 or 3 mixed in. I don't know if 'real' Kava will do its thing, might try tomorrow, but if something needs to be reset, I want to let it be reset.

Don't know what to tell ya but I did notice that the effects from instant seem to wear off fairly quickly. I've been meaning to ask if anyone else has noticed that or not. In any event, did you at least sleep good those days?

That sounds strange. Kava doesn't have a tolerance like most things, but like you said, a reverse tolerance.

You take any meds? Drinking, if so how frequent/when?

Yes. I dont know why...maybe it just passes through the digestive tract so much faster than the fiber or something.

Yeah, no other meds, no alcohol at all, I don't drink. Some Ginseng and things like that now and then but no substantial changes in that from one time to another time.

Taking in morning, so not affecting sleep. If you google cortisol cycles you'll see that it spikes in the morning, I assume (but don't know for sure) that I get these major stress rushes in the morning from that, they drop off later, and I'm using the Kava to reduce the cortisol surge after waking up. (There are clear things in life right now causing this, so causes are understood.)
