Does anybody have a tonoa? I've been considering the purchase of one. Currently, I make my kava by kneading it in a strainer bag, and it seems like a tonoa might make a nice addition to my kava drinking ritual.
No tanoa here, but I can tell you this. The more authentic, the better! They seem to run pretty expensive on ebay. If you find any cheaper ones be sure to post here. I'd love to own one.
I bought a nice 1 foot, hand carved/etched Tanoa from the flea market in Samoa, it was probably equivalent to $40 USD. When ever I see them online they cost hundreds of dollars.
Beautiful, I'd love to own one. Paradise Kava had a few beautiful hand made tanoas on their website a while ago and I wanted one so bad, but was tight on money at the time.
I'm really diggin' this Hinehina from kava boy, so far. ...it actually helped put some other kava's in perspective for me. I think I'll do some reviews soon.
