Mixed 4.5tbsp traditional prep with around 700ml of water. The first thing I've noticed about it was the taste. It's probably one of the best tasting I've tried in the past year. Very fresh and palatable. Numbness is there, but isn't as numbing as a heavy vanuatu. Effects for me are felt near immediately with a nice smooth build up that comes in waves. You can feel it a lot behind the eyes and my head feels to be floating in the air. I can see this being slightly anxiety inducing, which I have experienced, but its no where near as anxiety or stimulating as some other fijian wakas. This also seems like it could be an excellent socializing kava. My thoughts are free flowing and goofy. no worries or cares, my body feels light as a feather and without any sense of tension.
All in all I rate this a solid 8/10.
Definitely worth a try if you like calmer fijians. If not for that, then for the taste alone!
