Our White Sand kava root powder is reminiscent of the beautiful white sand beaches found in Vanuatu. White Sand kava powder is a beautiful five star blend of noble varieties of kava from several islands. These varieties being Borogu, Boroguru, Melo Melo, Palarusul to name a few. This is not cheap village dried kava powder like our competitors sell. The bulk of this kava powder comes from Pentecost, Espiritu Santo, and Malekula islands but we source noble kava from any island we can find it on. This kava was 5 years old upon harvest. White Sand kava powder is very high quality and economical- One hundred grams of kava powder makes 1 gallon or 32 four ounce servings of potent kava beverage if made properly. This powder is 100% basal stump. In Vanuatu they usually only consume this part of the plant in nakamals and kava bars. Great for people who like to drink kava all day. In the Fiji islands this type of kava is referred to as “lewana”.
Grind- Fairly fine but not micronized. White Sand Kava is an aggregated kava powder with particle sizes between 40-200 microns if you need nerdy specifics.
Yield- Yield is subjective based on end users preference, however, we recommend using 100-125g of White Sand Kava root powder per gallon of water in your mix. You should easily be able to get 4 gallons (16 liters) or 128 four ounce servings of kava beverage from a 500g bag of White Sand Kava root powder. If you are a skilled kava maker you can get as much as 5 gallons (20 liters) or 160 four ounce servings of kava from one 500g bag of White Sand Kava root powder.
Origin- This kava was sourced on various islands in the Republic of Vanuatu.
Identity- White Sand Kava root powder has been lab tested using high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) to establish it’s characteristics and taxonomic classification as Piper methysticum.
Strength- The strength of kava is quantitatively measured with kavalactone content. White Sand Kava tests at approximately 5%+ kavalactone content regularly using HPLC testing.
Purity- This product has no added fillers and is 100% pure as proven by the microscopy lab results.
Composition- 100% dried kava root powder as proven by the microscopy lab results. Black Sand Kava powder is 100% basal stump.
