Why do folks say drinking Kava every day is bad for you?

It's beginning to sound like urban myth to me by now, let's have some clarity.

Is there any one who can tell me if Kava is traditionally enjoyed daily?

Do they say that? If you’re hearing that, it’s not from people who drink kava and know kava. The majority of the science that’s been done on kava confirms that it’s safe. Beyond that, the real-world experiment has been running for centuries. Melanesians have been drinking kava daily for a very long time...the Polynesians too, perhaps to a slightly lesser degree. There doesn’t appear to be much, or any data, scientific or anecdotal that would support the idea that regular kava consumption is uniquely dangerous.

That being said, genetic outliers exist and if a person happens to be a genetic outlier in the ‘wrong’ way...then kava (or other substances) could be unsafe to consume regularly.

Iam sure there are plenty people in this forum that drink kava 5 to 7 days a week I have been doing it for years and so far for ME no problems but you have to see what effects it has on you hope that helps

Besides anecdotal evidence (your Honor) there are quotes to cite from World Health Organization,
UN, FAO....but my personal favorite is Journal of the American Medical Association...
"...the traditional kava beverage is prepared
by cold water extraction of its roots. Historic use shows
that kava is safe under the strict control of the rituals of Pacific
cultures. The traditional beverage is consumed on a daily
basis without apparent adverse effects, and kava cultivars
considered as noble ones have a long tradition of safe use".
