Is World Seed Supply a legit source? I see they sell fijian kava for $25/lb. which is pretty freakin' good pricewise IMO. They also have 40 & 70% extract powder for equally appealing prices.

Looks like an extract. That bright yellow powder gives it away. Personally I've got so many quality kava vendors at my disposal that taking a chance simply isn't worth it anymore. They do seem to know about the liver fallacy and let people know that they use roots only. So that's good news. Again, I personally wouldn't go for an unknown when there are so so many knowns. That's just me. Be safe, and if you do try it, let us know how it goes.

Aren't most ground root powders at most 10%? The above link is they're fijian whole ground root which according to what I've read has the lowest kavalactone content on the market...supposedly?

Yes, most ground root powders range from 5-10% (most). That's natural kavalactone concentration though. If we're talking about natural ground root, I'd say give it a whirl. The extracts are the ones I'd personally stay away from. Again, it's just me.

Mountain rose Herbs has really good kava for 22 a pound. and I bought a k plant from there sub website and it was legit.

Thanks Zach I just might give MRH a shot. Vanuatu is revered to have THE strongest kava on the market. It sure as hell cannot taste any worse the HKC's tudei. A sane person simply cannot drink that sh$# regularly.
