I just wanted to say that the forum experience here is really bizarre.
I usually dread posting to a new forum because of how likely it is that I'll get 3 unhelpful rude responses for every 1 helpful (and also rude) response. Totally not the case here--we're still on the internet, right?
Anyway, kudos on that... kinda feels like proof that kava works.

Yeah, I think it has a lot to do with the Kava. We're people from many different walks of life with the same taste for good kava. On many of the other forums I go to, a lot of politics, race issues, sexual orientation and a crap ton of unjustified judgment and trolling get thrown around. 
But here at the Kava lounge we're all root heads first of all. We may not agree with each other all the time but I have yet to see it expressed inappropriately.

I thought the same thing and got the sinking "oh boy, here's drama" feeling! I like the vibe of this forum too. It seems like there's very little judgement and everyone seems very helpful, which is unfortunately not the vibe I get from some of the other forums I check in on. I'm happy I found this place! (smiley: happy)

I absolutely agree! I feel good just talking about kava lol.., definitely a friendship beverage. I can understand how in many kava drinking tribes/communities, that fresh picked kava roots were offered as a symbol of friendship and peace. Can you even be angry or judgmental with this stuff? Heh. I don't see how.

I think the title was intentional to get ya thinking, and then be THANKFUL for the awsome people here. Truely is not like the rest of the world wide web....and I for one think some goverment agency should just pump Kava in the water supplies.....and everyone/everywhere would be just like us here



Just watching videos on Kava puts a smile on my face.

I was watching Kava Culture on youtube, and when they were making traditional Kava 'spit and all" all i could think about was "yummmm, bet that would get ya KruNked!" haha

Even if I never get the same effect others have out of kava, I've definitely enjoyed the community here and the exploration process. Everyone here has been great.

I have definatly noticed there to be alot of respect and good vibes on this forum. In my opinion kava isn't really the type of subject that could provoke hostility and a kava forum be mellow and peacefull by defintion, as it is. I can't imagine how a flame war would start here, two guys disagreeing about different kavas or methods of preperation isn't likely to turn hostile. Basically if somebody showed up here with beef and started calling people out to e-fights I'd be under the asumption that they were a career troll and just here to rile up rootheads.
