Your favorite creativity grog

Just out of curiosity, any particular strains or blends that you find enhance the creative process? I've been writing a novel for awhile now and am curious to try writing after a bowl of grog. I'm also trying to get some poetry published so it may be helpful with that, who knows :)

I tend to fool around with my guitar more, or at least feel like doing so more often, after kava. I also seem to think I play better after a bowl, but alcohol did the same thing and we all know what reality was there... This probably has to do with the auditory effects, which I don't know for certain but are likely from kava's action on cannabinoid receptors.

As far as writing goes, not sure. Kava Lounge tends to be the extent of my writing post-kava. I would like to explore writing a novel at some point, but the research/planning that goes into it has held me back.

I think ukulele is a great softer sounding instrument fit for kava. Pedal steel's also sound so sweet with a soft country twang.

I also like to write, not really a writer, but it is my preferred source of self expression, and it seems to come easily. Recently I decided to just go head on and start writing everything, and eventually be working on a book to, but to just write everyday, about absolutely anything to really loosen the flow a bit, which also happens to be when im really going heavy on the grog, not to much, but fending off dermopothy daily heavy, and i swear, kava is a fantastic thing for writing, I keep thinking certain strains wont work as well as others, but just like they all have there unique touches in us, they have unique touches in what comes through my writing, and its really fun, it seems easier to connect with some certain kind of feelings, like once I start it seems to lock me in my head so easily and has me dipping from so many wells of knowledge, that it just starts to feel really connected. Whether or not that makes since I dont know, but thats sort of what it does, I also find that the really heavy kavas, that can last a couple days, like alot of vanuatus can put a bit of a darker twist for me. Hawaiians and tongans seem to bring about a slightly clearer and maybe happier essence, but the ones that relax you to much, allmost take you away from it, like feeling your muscles go a bit limp and closing your eyes and listening to music is just sort of what happens, but to sum it up, i'd say mixing a hawaiian with a tongan, or a dash of wow! with a tongan, either would be prefferable to me, just got paradise fiji in today, so that will be new. about to brew it up!

hello fellow creative thinker! I've totally noticed what you said about heavy kavas giving a sort of darkness to your writing. It's almost just like a subtle but noticeable sarcasm about the things you know are bad in your life but the kava allows you to be at peace with it and just express it anyways; whereas high kavain kavas like nambawan make me forget about the bad stuff and just make everything seem good, like my entire life and future is just a nice warm glass of milk instead of a bitter shot of cheap tequila or a cheap bottle of rum. I also just got some Fijian and am really excited to give it a shot except this ones from kava by Rex. I did try the paradise Fijian and it is some really high quality root; you're in for a real treat with that stuff!

i enjoy higher kavain strains ( like wow ), i find kavain dominant strains make me somewhat energetic and inspired in way. i play guitar and draw, paint and tie dye. and i find higher dhm strains kinda cause me to want to sleep or be lazy (which isn't much of a bad thing but were talking creative energy here) i love me a good drawing session after a couple shells of wow, even stone but after about 40 minutes the dhm kavalactone seems to be apparent.
