Usually you consum kava on empty stomach, but does it work after having had a full dinner? (Austrian Germknödel) Or do I have to wait for four hours?

Hello, I'm new here. A few years ago I ordered some kava and really liked it. Back then I did have some bloating but I could still ignore it. A few days ago I ordered kava again and while I enjoy the effects in the head, the bloating is almost extreme. I feel like all my energy and body fluids...
