About how many tablespoons should a pound of dried Kava have. For example a bag of Kalm with Kava powdered root

It will vary quite a bit depending on grind and how tightly the kava is packed. I think the average tbsp of kava is about 7g, so probably about 64. But again, will vary quite a lot.

Yeah depends alot but @Kapmcrunk is working on a data base to answer this exactly !

I've weighed out some Nene from @Gourmet Hawaiian Kava
And 3 MASSIVE tablespoons is about an ounce. So 16 of those. Is a pound !
Which is alot! And can last you a good 3 to 5 weeks if your really not a hard head like me hahaha

Why not take a pound, and a tablespoon, and spoon it one by one into a bowl while counting? I don't mean to be cheeky, just suggesting that might be a way to nail it down.
