Cyclone Ula looks like it could graze Fiji. A little south of Fiji Islands now but moving northward. Best wishes to everybody there stay safe. Yes to Bula but

Looks like that image is slightly out of date. Only minor damage thankfully. But if iron roofs can blow off, Kava plants can be blown away. Hoping that didn't happen.

"Initial reports from Fiji's Lau group say Cyclone Ula has caused no major damage as the category three system passed through the archipelago in the past 24 hours after hitting northern Tonga. The Disaster Management Office says reports from Ono-i-Lau and Kabara say there were no casualties and no significant structural damage, but some corrugated iron roofs were blown away."

It ruffled some leaves in Samoa before hitting Tonga, than side-stepped Fiji, causing only minor damage (though there were a few weather-related drownings). It's headed for Vanuatu now, but is expected to turn South again and head for New Zealand before petering out.

I heard from friends in Tonga yesterday - Vavau got hit fairly bad with winds gusting to 200kph, but no fatalities. They seem to have got the worst of it.
Further south on Tongatapu they didn't get much apparently.
