Kava seems to denature every time i mix it with coconut milk? Also happens with fresh ginger juice?

any ideas or anybody not experience this ?

I have mixed Kava with coconut milk and also with soy milk. I feel it makes the Kava less effective. I do just water now just fine. No more additives in my Kava for me. Unless I will be adding more Kava.....!!!
