Fatty liver And kava?

is it ok to drink kava if you have a fatty liver ?

I have a fatty liver and have not had any bad effects. I've been drinking Kava on a regular basis for over a year. 1x's/day for back pain

You'd be better off asking a qualified doctor about that. A lot depends on the cause of the fatty liver... alcohol, obesity, other medication. The most sensible advice would be no, don't consume anything that is processed by the liver until you've addressed the cause and got it checked out ok.
