I ended up with a lot of leftover kava that was prepped in aluballs. I finally decided I needed to just make more to drink.
Got lazy about prepping leftover makas.

It was really good. I highly recommend the stainless steel bowl with the handle and pouring spout. It has a non-slip coating on the bottom too. I was spaced out big time on that stuff. Didn't want to do anything, just sit on the couch and try to watch youtube without passing out.
