How bad is kava.com?

Asked my gf to order a 1/2 of kava for me, i had bkh in my bookmarks but she ordered from kava.com instead. It just shipped out friday, I'm debating asking for my money back because of what i've heard about them, but it will cost me 10$ to ship it back. Is it worth sending it back and getting some proper kava or will it actually work as intended? This will be my first introduction with kava and i'd like it to be a good one

Buy some proper kava, put a heaping spoonful of the kava.com into your mix each night til it's gone, and then never let your girlfriend order the kava again.

Kava.com does sell kava from other vendors, including BKH, so it might actually be OK if you ordered BKH from them and not their "house brand". But kava.com is not a reputable company, so I would not advise ordering from them in the future.
