Kava Preparation How much Kava to make for beginners?

Hi gang, my fiancee was going to be spending some time with her friends this weekend, and she requested I make kava for their shindig. All I have is some Koniak Kava powder from BKH, which, as you know, is quite strong! I was planning on making it average strength (1 tbs per cup), but I'm wondering how much to make them. She's a semi-experienced kava connoisseur, having drank the grog around 5 or 6 times, but the rest of the gang (three more) are new to the intoxicating pepper. Any ideas on how much to make for them, taking into account RT and their inexperience with the effects of the good-good?

Can't help with the koniak, but just for giggles I would see how many normal drink you can spike with kava candies! See how many would notice. Or maybe not, may think you trying to slip them a roofy...

They've had the candies before, so they'd know the taste. They'd be on to me!

Go with your standard ratio, but just make enough where they can back for more shells if they're not feeling it. Best to not overwhelm, and let them sample at their own pace
