'llo, people. I'm too shy and worried about repeating an old topic to start a new one for this; my apologies for bumping this silly thread.
I'm just wondering a bit about this Koniak stuff I've been trying out. I've heard all over the internet about how strong it is, and indeed there is even a warning on the bag that it may be too much for newbies. However, I'm three days into the bag and so far it has been relatively easier on me than the Mood and Mind 100% lateral root powder that I started off with. I'm looking into a blender and some soy lecithin in case it could make the brew a bit more potent; it's a pretty coarse grind, much more so than the stuff I used before. It's not weak, certainly, but it's not knocking me off my arse like I was expecting.
Any ideas as to why this is? Perhaps it builds up over time before acquiring its infamous power, or maybe it's just my lack of expertise showing.
I'm about an hour past downing a bowl of 6 tablespoons kava to 2 cups water, kneaded for over twenty minutes and with vegetable oil and milk added, and while it feels great it does not seem to be as potent as the strongest batch of the Mood and Mind I managed to make. Hm.
