Kava and Story telling

What do you guys think about the ability of kava to facilitate your enjoyment of storytelling?

It seems to me that it exacerbates the activity of the brain on storytelling and this played a vital role in encouraging the tribal mythos to continue and be enjoyed.

Kava is great at getting people to resist the urge to interrupt, which certainly helps with story telling. But yeah, it makes people comfy and cozy and relaxed and open to hearing good stories.

Historically, traditionally kava beverage sharing/ drinking has been a great social, story-telling motivator.
But, when you say "exacerbates" (makes a bad situation worse) what do you mean?

My favorite thing is to sit around with friends during a kava circle and shoot the shit and tell stories.
