@Intrepidus_dux as mentioned above nut milk bags are ideal but be sure to get something with the right micron size for you. 75 is about right but 50 if you're sensitive to sediment and 100 if you're not.

I had no idea that I'm so strong, honestly. Almost broke the new kavafied bag today so I need to ease way up on my kneading technique. I did finally clean up the dried kava mud though!

A reminder that Cactus Kava will send a complementary strainer bag with each kava order. They also sell individual kava strainer bags for $3.50. I've been using the same kava strainer bag from them for well over a year and it shows no sign of 'sploding. Its an 80 micron bag, and some people here prefer bags that are slightly coarser (eg 70-75 micron) but really it does a good job for me. I have stomach issues anyway, and a coarser bag might give me more stomach problems even though it would allow more kavalactones into my grog.
