A friend in Michigan visited Kava Kasa in Grand Rapids, MI recently, and said he really liked it. Has anyone from the forums been there?

I went about a year ago. It was fine, classy, even. It's more about the ambience than the root. If you had a hip, rich aunt to take somewhere for one shell before movie or theater it would be perfect.

I work in grand rapids and have visited kava kasa a couple times. Havent had there "in house" kava, but have tried there instant kava which is unfortunately a dollar a gram. Wasnt too impressed by any means....they really push K@ pretty heavy there as well....

Thanks for the info. A friend went there and said he liked it but that was only his second time or third time trying kava. I'm Glad There's A Kava bar available and hopefully they get the word spread out.
