Kava rocks

Should've weighed it but as a senseless kava fiend I immediately smashed it to bits so I could get those sweet kavalactones out of there. Either way it has provided the nights entertainment, probably between 8-12 tbsp going by effects. Anybody else get this in some kavas?

Was that one solid piece that did not get ground up or is it the powder stuck together? If it is powder it is either from being compressed or vacuum sealed or it could be from moisture in that clump of kava. I have seen all of what I described in Fijian kava sometimes.
If it was moisture most of the time it will smell bad. Aloha.

Powder stuck together from Vanuatu. It smelled no worse than usual.

Oh yea if I leave kava in my strainer with any moisture at all it will smell very unappetizing. I like the taste of kava, but that is just disgusting. Like yucky soap
