Kava while fasting...

Has anyone else experienced a dramatic increase in perceived effect from kava while under fast? I am currently at about ~24 hours on a fast, and I just took a few shells (my regular amount) and feel quite krunk and a bit nauseated. I often go 6, sometimes 8-10 hours between meals, and I have had a session during that period in the past, but I am feeling the effects to the tune of perhaps 2X right now.

Anyone else experienced this while under fast?

Mm-hmm. Kava into gnawing emptiness gets digested right quick. Eating after shelling kicks up the effects for me, but it becomes a very delicate decision after having fasted that long.
