Kava without a strainer bag?

In my most desperate time, I've used a clean sock

The blender is my root friend, I strain it with a metal colander, the type for powdered sugar works well.

Hell, I have even used the strainer that catches the food bits in the sink..not my proudest moment, but it works. I rinsed it out under very hot water and told myself "it's disinfected"
