Strange news in the world of Kava

What I want to know is why someone would carry 25kg worth of kava in 25 gram bags

That's 880 separate bags of kava...

Yeah, probably packaged in the familiar bags.... but with stuff like a Coconut shell, "Bula!" or the Vanuatu Flag

And the strange thing is that 25 grams is practically nothing. That's what, 3.5 tablespoons or something?

Wow, kava must be really, really dangerous stuff. The woman has forfeited her 22 kilos of kava, been fined $11,000 and if represented, (likely), she is up for legal costs as well. Of course if she was a banker that caused the taxpayer to lose billions, millions to lose their jobs, thousands to commit suicide, thousands more to lose their homes, well ... nothing would have happened. One is socially evil while the other is safe from prosecution. I just have trouble remembering which is which.
