Why does kava Reddit exist?

I don't get the appeal. No avatars. No subforums. No fun. I wonder why the guys on Reddit don't just come to our forum.

They're some super knowledgable folks over there. I occasionally pop over to answer questions. They link to us pretty often. I've often thought about asking them if they want to team up. Maybe have a crew from KF linger at r/kava to answer questions for people new to kava. It's usually super quiet over there.

I used to participate there a little bit. I'd say it was about 10% super knowledgeable/90% clueless. I decided not to participate in Reddit at all any more because I felt the place had become toxic: dumb witch hunts, harboring hate groups (some of the racist subreddits there are just unbelievable--and if you try to suggest they should be banned, you are basically told you are a fascist who is against free speech. No, free speech does not mean Reddit has to host your hate forum, people!), just a generally hostile environment.
