So does kava.com guarantee that their chinese extract and their old BKH koniak were made in an FDA registered facility?
I am not advocating for kava.com, I am advocating for all vendors to be transparent with this information. I used kava.com as an example, because it seems like nobility is all vendors talk as a benchmark to their products safety.

@Henry I will search that as well.

i didnt buy the extract from kava.com just re-implying.

but so from what ive read here, kava cant be an intense high with just root powder?

im gonna try the kneading method when i get home.

so again i really am curious, is it possible to get an intense experience from 1 or 2 doses of root powder?

it seems root powder is more expensive than the extract if i need 8tbsp for a strong one

Ok. I know that a few vendors here have stated that their facilities are approved by their local authorities and that they test their kava. You can perhaos create a thread and ask all the vendors to confirm this is the case?

They sell it thru BKH, if you try to add to cart it'll say it's sold out. Kule'a's Melomelo is in stock sometimes though.

BKH uses AKA for testing and because of that I believe that he does. However I am not 100% on that.
I know that they do that, there are a lot of vendors that have testing done but you said this---"they have since revamped their facilities and became FDA compliant which is more then I can say for all the vendors on this forum with the exception of a few like BKH" They meaning Kava dot com and kona kava but you say that it is more than you can say for "all" the vendors here except a few like BKH. So what you are saying is that BKH is operating from a GPM compliant facility. This is not true, they do not have a GMP facility, none of us here do except Kava King. I just wanted to make this point clear. The way you say it makes it sound like BKH has one of these GMP compliant facilities.

Perhaps the way I said it was misleading. I was referring to the fact that they test beyond nobility, they test for contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, mold and bacteria. If you read the other thread I started, (which I know you did) you should have realized that @Deleted User said he does a similar microbial test. This is something I was not aware of.
I have spoken to Tyler extensively which is why I know about the way he conducts his tests, runs his operation and so on. My remark in reference to what you are pointing out was about kava.com's operations as of late and the extra testing done by BKH.

this is what @Bula Kava House wrote:

I do the testing but as of yet we're not repackaging in a cGMP facility. That's coming soon though. For now we're packaging in a health department inspected establishment which is probably the next best thing.
I have no idea about different regulations in America, but as I mentioned elsewhere, in NZ food needs to be packed/stored in council-approved facilities(commercial kitchens), which are meant to be clean, safe etc. . I imagine that this is similar what @Bula Kava House means by their "health department inspected establishment"? How different is it from "cGMP facility"?

We've had our latest sample results rolling in all last week and this week. We've actually been spot checking shipments for micro and metals since inception. Starting Nov we will be following AHPA guidelines for micro and heavy metals. micro test.JPG
I agree this is an important aspect for all vendors to be concerned with. Equally as important as Noble/Tudei differentiation.

I imagine Judd is referring to county/city health authorities, as he runs a brick-and-mortar business. If you run a restaurant in the US (or something that is classified as a restaurant, like kava bars probably are), the local gov't sends people by to make sure you meet certain sanitary standards.

As I was telling Henry on another thread (along with the nobility aspects) I would like to add more information in reference to these other tests. Such as the one you show above. I think as a whole this serves the community better and I will say it again, I am not a vendor, I am a consumer and I believe this information is important.
