Kava Curious
Just had my annual physical and my blood pressure has always been above 120 at the doctors office. I have a fear of the white coat, but yesterday was my first visit while on the root and it was a normal 120. Doctor thought he was going to have to put me on high blood pressure meds, but looks like kava is keeping that under control for me. Just thought I'd throw that out there. 
I'll be getting labs done this weekend to make sure everything is OK with my liver as that is always the big concern with kava. I told my doctor about my switch to kava and he's never heard of it. He said he is always for recommending natural remedies first before medication. I take kava for my anxiety, depression, and overactive mind. Doctor told me its either a natural herb or tons of medication. He said he'd rather me be on the herb. If it works keep taking it and we will continue monitoring for liver.
This plant really is magical. I don't know what it is, but it has surely changed my life.
