We are definitely interested in having access to more
Sāmoan kava and we will surely buy some of your root, if it is produced properly. We are major kava enthusiasts here so not only do we care about having a good and safe product for our own personal consumption, but also for the industry as a whole and to maintain it's 'legal status' in much of of the world.
From checking out the website, it looks like you might be a Chinese company based out of Sāmoa. In our experience, Chinese companies haven't had great kava products or shown any true reverence for the plant, it's safe usage or it's tradition. Typically we see Chinese kava extracts or powders that may or may not be made from the appropriate parts of the plant or possibly not even the correct cultivars...or even species. -- Being that you seem to just be selling a few organic local crops, it seems more likely that the kava could be good. I'll let you tell us...
Sorry, we scrutinize vendors pretty hard here, but please feel free to respond and give all the details you can give about your history with kava and knowledge about it and your product.
We would also love to hear details about the 'ava you sell, how it's produced etc... For example:
- Does all of your kava root come from Sāmoa only? Never blended with imported kava from elsewhere?
- What are the names of the cultivars you sell?
- Is it tested for mold/heavy metals/contamination?
- Do you have HPLC results that give the Chemotype and Kavalactone percentage?
- Is the kava powder made of only root & stump material? No leaves or stems.
- If it's all shipped out Sāmoa, what would the shipping prices be for 500g or 1Kilo to the USA?
Thanks for your answers and welcome aboard.
