Sticky eyes?

I’ve already ascertained that the change in the oil/mucus composition has nothing to do with the diuretic affects of kava. There’s another kava-induced mechanism at work. I’ve done a lot of research (reading as many scientific papers online as I can find) but have not been able to pinpoint the exact nature of the issue. In most people, these symptoms subside over time but I have not been so fortunate, hence the question.

The Kapn's original reply a couple years ago touched on several good ideas, from hormone therapy, to age issues, to other substances that you've used or are using. Worth exploring.

Yes, all of the ideas have already been explored. I’m not using any other substances, though many herbal remedies have been tried since to help with the issue. My point is: although my case may be unique, kava is known to alter the composition of mucus in some people and there are other reports of ‘sticky eyes’. In that case, I’m not unique. I’m trying to find out how kava induces this physiological change which is normally of a temporary nature. If I had an idea of how kava does this, it may help me find a potential remedy for the condition that was triggered 3 years ago.
