It seems that Kavaha was a bit too optimistic about the delays needed from harvesting to delivery at your door.

Thanks, thats a bummer but as long as they don't run with the money - not saying they would do, but current situation with no updates is not a good look.

Most credit cards in Europe don’t include purchase protection by default, it’s usually an extra service. Debit cards typically don’t offer it at all. I once ordered a large quantity of lion’s mane using a debit card, and the goods never arrived, there was nothing I could do... a learning experience . PayPal’s buyer protection seems to be the most practical option. That said, I’ve also ordered from Kavaha a couple of times some time ago and had no issues...

Yeah me too, no issues at all. I almost took part in the preorder but without knowing the quality before, luckily I didn't do it.

A preorder? You are buying something that don't exist at the present moment, in this case kava that has not been planted or harvested. That means stuff might fail.

It's better to buy products that do exist.

Well yes, that way they tried to bring new products in bulk into their shop, but didn't have enough money themselves to invest all the money...

A nice opportunity seemingly, but if a business doesn't have enough money to invest without customers, is a bad sign...

I don't know if it was smart to invest in a business just to get a rebate on kava. We will see what will happen i guess. Would not be bad if @Kavaha could update.

In hindsight it might have been better to buy bulk directly from Fiji. The last update I got was that they had placed the order and were expecting it in around 2 weeks but could be longer. That was July 7th though. Haven't heard from them since

Just had confirmation from them that they're closed untill August 17th due to vacation. Hopefully things will start moving quickly soon

The "order has been archived" of the presale order status was the reason why I wrote to Kavaha two months ago. So, in fact, nothing to be worried of.

Great to hear. My current kava is from olifit and that one is so weak and bad....even 60g is barely enough. So looking forward to trying the Palarasul which is one of my favourite types of kava. Will be interesting to see how it stacks up against kavasocieties.

Have you weighed yours? Mines supposed to be 1KG but its only 900g. Also, very wet so in reality it might be only what...800g ? Not cool.
