Only my third Kava to try but let me repeat, DANG.

For me though, it is NOT a nighttime kava. I almost feel like I'm speeding on it a little bit. Super focused. Wanting to write. Wide awake. Happy. Excited. I get a rush immediately after drinking it.

So I can't have anymore tonight. But I'm going to have some tomorrow during the day. I read some reviews where they said it was sedating. Not for me. Can you snort kava? I KIDDDD I KIDDDDD.

For the future, do you think you could create threads related to particular vendors' products on their sub-forums? It would be helpful to keep reviews of their products in one place.

I really like Nene too. It gives me a mellow feeling that completely dissolves all of my cares and anxieties way. It was a real life saver getting me through a rough time here while back when going through severe panic attacks. Seriously. I liked kava before but it gave me a renewed sense of how beneficial and therapeutic kava can be.If I take enough it will put me asleep quickly. I usually sleep well on it too. A kava that is definitely nice to have on hand.Helpful it seems to quite a few people. I love how different kavas can affect people differently.Interesting stuff.

@Tasha, that wasn't really a review, it was just a "Dang This is Good". So you are fine. If hedgie likes it as a review, he will cut and past. Nene is my bedtime kava but when you said he made you energetic, it reminded me of college. We were studying for exams and a girl in the dorm took some caffeine pills to stay awake. She promptly fell asleep. I will say this again and again, Kava Biochemistry is a mystery. By the way, the Nene is on the top of Harpos list as being the most noble. In Hawaiian folklore, the Nene was used on sick children (probably so they would rest comfortably). Back then it was not as strong as the one that GHK sells today.

This is more like my experience. I'll have a mini-review of Nene in a few days, but it definitely felt more like a mild yet interesting h!gh to me, than a calming relaxer. I also have same thing you described about caffeine. It makes me start yawning and feeling sleepy. It still stimulates my CNS, but makes we more tired than wakeful.

Ok, I did some Nene this afternoon. It didn't give me energy but it sure took the edge off this Crappy Monday. I woke up this morning with the Weekend Warrior Blues. Anyway, I did little Papa kea and Opihikao after the Nene and that turns out to be a heck of relaxing/sedating Combo. What can I say, it's all good! Nene is still my sweet dreams nitecap. As with all Kava, your mileage may vary.

Found a nice surprise in my mail box tonight... GHK Nene Micro had arrived. First time for Nene; First Time for Micro. Only 2 tablespoons. Agree with Deleted User01.. Not giving me energy but seems to take the edge off of a crazy day.
