It's this stuff, which might be hard to find too much further north of here, but no doubt heaps of people make this stuff around NZ. I think the shott stuff is a bit more thick and sickly than this. This one has the consistency of water.

After I made my kava the other night I hand juiced fresh ginger root and key lime into my shell. The blend of bitter, spicy(ginger), and sour is quite a pleasing taste, I will definitely be doing it again.
