Do you have spiritual experiences with kava?

I have not been able to get to the spiritual level with kava that I once did. I'm attributing it to the stress of corporate America for now. I also wonder if I need to find the right strain. I'm still hunting for one that speaks to me. What is kava music? I am very interested in hearing this, be it your own creation, a playlist, or a genre that puts you in the zone. :D
It's just music I found on youtube when I googled "kava music" lol. The islanders play music sometimes when they drink kava.

Here is a very relaxing and traditional piece:

Here is a more upbeat and processed piece:

The fact that it isn't like LSD/aya is an advantage in my opinion. I think that when it comes to people looking for healing/spiritual experiences, those things are overused. They have their place for sure, and I have benefited in many ways from those sorts of experiences but I also think you can go too far with them. They are not relaxing like kava is and a big part of the spiritual path is leaning how to relax and not worry so much.
That's true, for sure. I never actually got anything "spiritual" from a hallucinogen. Just nonsense, really. Too much noise, not enough clarity for my tastes. Kava allows you to keep that clarity.

wow I had another spiritual experience with kava today, kava if a gift from the divine mother.

Exactly, there is not enough clarity with those plants. You are constantly being distracted by the warped perceptions. THat's not to say they don't have their place, because to give an example they attack the ego and the beliefs about life that one takes for granted without questioning and for many people kava is too gentle to do that. A lot of people who have a life changing experience on those things would simply find kava to be a pleasant sedative, because they don't know how to really listen to it. They need their whole world shaken up in order for it to be spiritual for them.

But once you get passed that stage and you realize that what you are really searching for is peace and calm clarity that you can take with you into daily life, not crazy spiritual fireworks, then kava becomes the greater ally.

I just had one of the most intense spiritual experiences of my life last night on kava. I read somewhere (maybe on this forum or maybe erowid or somewhere) that the natives like to sit and "listen to the kava". This made a great deal of sense to me because I listen to adyashanti and he speaks a lot about the prayer of stillness and he recommends just sitting in silence for 30 minutes. So I tried it on kava, I just sat in silence and listened to the kava.

I began to notice that all my problems involved activity in the mind. I noticed that in order for me to get angry at something, I needed to think about it first. I noticed that in order for me to feel afraid of something, I needed to think about it first. I noticed that if I just sat and listened to the kava, there was no noise in my head at all. There was only a peaceful silence. In that silence, I realized the blessed state of no mind.
