2017 HTS code for Kava

Can someone tell me what is the HTS code of Kava to USA this year? they have changed it around and its no longer 1211.90.9190.... is it 1211.90.92.80 now?

My previous shipment through DHL got charged duty on kava for some reason. I had used the old code, didnt know it had changed and have no idea what it was interpretted as by US customs. Need to know the right duty free code unless if they have introduced duty on kava imports?

No, they haven't and IMO are very unlikely to ever do so.

You'll see a document with the change record. It says that 1211.90.9190 has been discontinued. IMO 1211.90.92.80 is the next best thing.

Did they not mention the classification they used to justify the customs duty they charged?

It turns out no duty was charged and they are trying to figure out what the extra charge is for from DHL accounts in Malaysia who look after my freight bills
