I think the neighborhood rats (and I do mean the actual rodents) are quite relaxed and happy right now. Just lately I’ve been dumping used kava in the soil outside my side door. EVERY morning there’s a bunch of kava on my doormat! Along with rat droppings! Much as I prefer a happy rat to a vicious rat I don’t think I need to attract any more.
