Hi all!

I have been reading this forum for a week or two now, and there seems to be a lot of stuff on here that's interesting to me, so I thought I'd better sign up.

I first tried kava maybe two months ago, and have already gone through about 1.5 pounds (first melo-melo, now boroguru, both from bkh). It definitely has a very positive effect for me.. and it does seem to be slowly getting stronger. Like a lot of people, I especially like it for what it doesn't do -- I have yet to wake up regretting the kava I drank the night before.

Some of the stuff that I see on here about creating a kava machine, playing with ultrasonic extraction and such, definitely caught my attention. Designing machines that make stuff is something I find really interesting (not to mention, what I do for a living)... and what could be more awesome than a kava keurig? :)

@21delta, Welcome to the Kava Forum. ::awesomesmiles:: You best sign up is right ... Here you will learn about kava but also get to hang with a bunch of "wild and crazy" people. Enjoy.

P.S. I don't don't know where @Rookietwoshoes is walking to but I'm following ... Hey Rookie, where you alive when Nancy Sinatra released the song "These Boots were made for walking"? Hey @HeadHodge, tell her man.

No, I'm a decade short.
I changed into these heels specifically for you, Deleted User01. I imagined you would find them particularly alluring. I also sense a possible foot fetish in the making. :X3:

Welcome, @21delta!

I too want to build a kava machine. An appliance that automated kava extraction. Root and water go in the top, kneaded and strained kava comes out into the carafe. I really think it's a matter of "when" and not "if".

Sadly, other than being able to program the microcontroller for such a machine, I have no mechanical engineering background, so all of my work to date has been in Sketch-up designing 3d-printable parts for testing and no actual tests.
