'Awa harvest

[Gourmet Hawaiian Kava]

I thought I would post a picture of a 'Awa harvest that I did a while back, this was one of my 7 year old plants, you can see that what I am holding is the lateral roots, that was the biggest I have grown up to that time.
After that we scrape the bark off and pressure wash it and then dry it and grind it, it was good stuff, I hope you folks enjoy the picture. I have done extensive experimenting on different ways to grow 'Awa to get the biggest lateral roots. Aloha.
