I like this Kumakua. It has a similar color and taste as nene, maybe a little peppery. I find them both fairly similar but the Kumakua is definitely more buzzy. I filled up a quart jar of the stuff and took it somewhere to drink. Drank the first half and didn't feel much. Made a total amateur move and didn't sufficiently shake up the sediment on the bottom. Drank the rest and got just beyond the level of pleasant spins! Nice stuff.
Last night I had a measured 1/8 of a cup of powder to about 24 ounces of water (three rinses of about 8 ounces)
Drank it at once and it was a great kava experience. Very slow rise to a crescendo of pleasant euphoria with plenty of body tingles then as the buzz part gently went away I became very sedated.
