Sooo, before stumbling upon this forum I placed my first order to kona kava farm through an online vendor. I bought some of this instant kava just for kicks. It was like $25 for about 200 or so grams. The kava mixed very well with milk but you could barely taste the kava. There was just a hint of it there. I thought this was great at the time because I have been trying to get several friends into kava that cant get past the strong taste. That said, the product says add two teaspoons. I added two tablespoons - (one, followed by another once I tasted how weak it was) - Nothing. A very slight "coloring", so to speak. Nothing unpleasant, but almost zero effect. Its intersting to me that they would allow a product like this to remain on the market. I dont imagine they get a lot of repeat sales. It has some soy letchin and some other good stuff in it, so I'm going to use the rest of it with some other kava products that are on their way. So, not as total waste, but pretty close.
