Hello, I am looking for some sugestions regarding my next order of medium grind. I deal with excessive anxiety and worry every day and drink kava to help with this. What GHK strain do you recommend for anxiety sufferers? I am not really interested in getting "krunk" but am interested in calming a busy mind. A strain with longer lasting effects would be great as well. In medium grind the only GHK I have had so far is Mahakea and I found it to be wonderful but with nothing to compare it to its hard to say if it is the best available for this use. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know much yet about the gourmet Hawaiian kavas yet, which I hope to change soon, but I do know something about chronic anxiety. I had crippling panic disorder bordering on schizophrenia for over five years. Kava is nice, but you need to get to the root of your problem... Pun intended. What really worked for me was starting a very high fat lower carbohydrate diet and avoiding pretty much any highly processed foods. Lots of good farm raised meats, wild caught fish, and nutrient dense vegetables. I haven't had a panic attack in three years now. But it took serious work. Chronic anxiety sucks, but i really believe you can beat it with some effort. I also recommend a cheap, short book called hope and help for your nerves, by Dr. Claire Weekes. It helped me break the never ending cycle of worry. Kava is great, it helps the short term symptoms of anxiety. But beating it all together is much more satisfying. Good luck!

As far as an anti anxiety kava though... The more balanced kavas always worked best, so perhaps the Mahakea?

Thanks for the replies guys. @Jerome , I appreciate the book sugestion and have added it to my Amazon cart, look forward to checking it out. Where did you learn about changing your diet?

@Mrbinx69, I've tried Nene, but only in the instant form. I found it to be quick acting, but quick to fade as well. Might have to give it a try in medium grind.

The diet change came from just doing research on the healthiest human diet. The fact that my mental health made drastic improvements was a serious plus. It comes with some negative connotations, but the paleo style diet was the basis. High nutrient density foods with little to no sugar. Keeping busy is also a good way to combat anxiety. Don't take time to worry.

I like Mo'i
Mo'i absolutely changed my life. I would highly recommend it for anxiety. It's not too sedating, so it won't knock you out at work. Honestly, I have never had any strain of Kava as perfect for me as Mo'i.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've had Mo'i in instant form, but only in small doses. I'll have to try some medium grind. Do you prefer it in Medium grind, micro or instant?

I got my first batch ever on Friday and it might be my all-time favorite
