We have been working very hard on bringing forward a new kava product which is significantly strong with kava effects and actually tasty. After a bunch of trials with different flavors, we discovered that cocoa seems to work well with kava. We finally have come up with a formula and want to do a pilot scale run to see what consumers think about the beta version. This product isn't meant for veteran kava drinkers who are accustomed to the taste of kava but for those who prefer having kava which tastes good and is very convenient to make.

There's only a limited amount of the Cocoakava available and it can be ordered from our website at a discounted price currently. I'm putting it up for pre-order right now and we will be shipping this on Tuesday from Fiji so it may be until the first or early second week of June when you receive your order. Preview of the product is available below.

We will also be sending restock inventory for our Gourmet Savusavu Waka which is almost out of stock. The price of this kava has increased by 18% and supply has become quite restricted so please stock up if you can as we are not sure if the price will remain or further increase. We will hold back of making micronized version of the savusavu until a new batch is received however will have Micronized Taveuni's Secret available from next week.

I will be personally sending emails to all who order to get feedback about the product so please keep a tab on your emails once you have received the Cocoakava.

On a side note, we have drastically improved our micronized kava due to new equipment purchases. It now does not contain any makas which can cause stomach discomfort (Not that it did in the pilot scale run) and no longer feels gritty (that was very evident in the pilot scale run with high powder to liquid ratio). Because the micronized kava is so refined (yield is approximately 15% per kg of normal kava roots), its very costly to produce hence we have reflected this on our pricing accordingly.
