Best intro, IMO if you are that interested, would be to read the book Practical Mysticism: A Short book for Normal People, by Evelyn Underhill, it came out in 1915.

Also worth checking out the 14th century writings of Julian of Norwich (who was a woman, btw, there is a strong feminine aspect to this type of mysticism, especially with the concept of "Christ Our Mother"), which of course predates anglicanism but is part of the well from which anglican mysticism springs. https://www.paracletepress.com/samples/exc-revelationsondivinelovei-20.pdf
